Joey has worked ambitiously in the pet profession for over 8 years. She started her career working in vet clinic, coming to understand the importance of health. While working there, she became more and more interested in dog behaviour until finally making the decision to leave the clinic to begin her career in pet dog training.

Not long after beginning her education in dog behaviour, Joey found herself keenly interested in dog play and social behaviour. On top of her formal education as a trainer with the Academy For Dog Trainers, Joey started to invest deeply in broadening her education through seminars and courses that focused specifically on the social behaviour of dogs.

Joey is passionate about teaching puppies how to be the world’s friend. Instilling social ease, grace, and confidence in the puppies in her care gives her such satisfaction not just in knowing that our puppies are able to navigate every situation they find themselves in, but that they are able to form stronger, longer lasting bonds with their family and friends.
